Yesterday, I finally go around to finishing disassembling my 2.4l Stratus motor. Now all I have is the bare block, beadplate, head and a few other misc parts.
Hopefully in the next few days I will be able to go pick up my Pistons/Rods, Oil Pump, Water Pump, Main Bearings, Rod Bearings, Thrust Bearing, and Piston Rings.
I already have picked up a stock srt turbo and plan to port it out sometime this week, I have also picked up a stock srt inter cooler, already had a neon dohc block for certain parts, an under drive pulley, and the complete top and bottom end gasket sets.
I still have to finish putting together the fuel system which will include 46lb injectors, a 1:1 regulator, and Megasquirt to control it all.
I really hope that this project will be able to be completed by September, if not it will be a wasted summer..........once I am back in school I really won't have anytime to finish this project up, so hopefully the next few weeks will be good to me and I will be able to get its put together and in the car.
Thanks for Reading, and stay tuned for more,
Dave
