yeah, my neon came from lakefield, I bought it from higley ford and they said some older couple traded it in on somethin newer or somethin if I remember right. the car's a slut tho, did a little research on it and it started out somewhere in the northeast, spent a little time in canada, got wrecked, was salvaged in new hampshire and somehow made it's way to minnesota, haha.

I updated my VW Beetle Blog.

A ton has gotten done.. but I have so much that I need to do, and wanted to have done. I hope I can start on the body work this week and get the chassis rolling again.

Hey.

I actually got the kit in the mail yesterday. Took the engine out and removed the head in about 20 minutes (they are real easy to work on). I thought the piston was seized (it was the whole reason behind buying the 80cc kit). Turns out the connecting rod was seized to the crankshaft. I broke it loose, but now its got a ton of movement..

I'm probably gonna go get a new crankshaft / connecting rod for it, then it should be good again. I'm kinda regretting it.. these things are cheap and I've spent about $400 on it.
