1GN was created on February 1st, 2007 by Jason Day, along with Vinny working as head adminstrator. The idea came to us after spending several years in the Neon community and wanting something better. I took what I learned from 2GN.ORG about what people were looking for in an online community and sought to develop something to cater to the 1st Generation Neon owners.. |

The name is pretty self-explanatory, if you need to ask you shouldn't be part of it. |

Minnesota Sport Compacts was designed to be different from the start. Most of the car clubs out there cater to either a specific brand of car (i.e. the Mustang) or to a specific hobby within the auto sports world (i.e. autocross, drag strip, etc.). MNSC was founded to provide a place for people to share their love for all things automotive, while allowing people who owned more modern sports/sporty cars (typically classified as sport compacts) to have a place to learn about their cars and connect with other people who shared their interests. |
